Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Market Matador (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Virtual money only — not real currency

All balances, cash, cards, packs, prizes, leaderboards, and other values on Market Matador are virtual and for entertainment and education only. They have no real-world cash value, cannot be redeemed for real money or securities, and do not represent ownership of real stocks or other financial instruments. Nothing on the Platform is a bank account, brokerage account, or investment product.

Not financial advice

Nothing on the Market Matador Platform is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Stock names, prices, charts, game outcomes, educational articles, challenges, and any other content are for learning and gameplay only. Do not make real-world investment decisions based on anything you see or experience on Market Matador. If you need advice about real money or investments, consult a qualified professional.

Educational purpose

Market Matador is an educational game aimed at helping players learn about markets through play. Game results, simulated performance, and “wins” or “losses” are not predictions of real market outcomes.

Accounts

You may sign in using supported third-party providers (such as Google or X). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your provider account secure. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others or create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.

Acceptable use

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with other players
Do not attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Platform
Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes
Do not treat virtual balances or game content as real money or investment recommendations

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

Purchases

If you buy virtual items (such as card packs) with real money, those purchases are for digital game content only. Unless required by law, virtual items are non-refundable and have no cash redemption value.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free gameplay, or that stock data or educational content is complete or current for real-world trading.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Market Matador and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Platform, including any decision you make about real-world money or investments after using the Platform.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
